Interesting Experiment

The Three Headed Monster Ale is nIcebrew’s latest project.  The idea is to create something special, something unique and something dangerous.  In collaboration with Oli at The Desert Island Brewery and Atli the naked chef we are going to construct an ale, from ingredients decided by each one of us.  In that way Atli is in charge of the yeast and extra spices, Óli is the barley master and nIcebrew takes care of the hops.  The beer is brewed using nIcebrew’s facilities. The beer displays a lovely deep red to copper colour with nice fluffy white head.  In the nose there are some fresh dancing floral aromas from the NS Pacific Gem hops and sweet biscuity tones from the three kinds of malted barley.  The flavour is somewhat on the bitter side but in a nice balance with the malted barley. The trained tounge can enjoy hints of liquorice and fruits.
